We offer a "hand up, not a hand out" to those experiencing homelessness in El Paso. All funds raised through this event will go to our mission to "model Jesus to the community by providing love, compassion, humble and selfless service to the needy and disabled in a safe, trusting, and nurturing environment."
Our residential facility can house up to 193 people and we average 120 people per night. We welcome men, women, families, those with medical needs, low income renters, and Relapse Prevention participants. Guests are welcome to stay on a 30 day basis and extensions are made as needed. Every person at the Rescue Mission receives a bed, shower, 3 meals a day, access to laundry machines, access to a nurse and counselor, and much more.
Our 13-week Relapse Prevention program is designed for men and women whose addictions are so overpowering that they have lost everything. These individuals are embraced and guided by the Mission on their journey of finding and maintaining sobriety during and after the program. This program is offered five times per year and completely free of charge to its participants.
The Corner of Hope is a ministry dedicated to men and women who are experiencing homelessness but may not be living in any shelter. The facility offers warm food, coffee, clothes, toiletries, access to restrooms, showers, laundry machines, and compassionate staff members prepared to plant a seed of hope, all free of charge. We see an average of about 50 people come through every week day.
