In 2019, the El Paso Coalition for the Homeless counted 809 homeless people in the El Paso area. However considering the fact that a large majority of the homeless are considered to be "hidden" because they live in their cars or other circumstances, it's safe to say that conservatively speaking, the actual number of homeless people in El Paso is more than twice 809 and more likely to be over 1,600. One of the biggest contributing factors to the homeless issue is the lack of affordable and safe housing. Add to the equation the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and you can understand the severity of the situation at hand in our community.
Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in El Paso, we have decided to postpone having volunteers come back for the safety of our residents, staff and community.
We'll be posting updates as to when we will have volunteers come back.
Stay safe, El Paso!
Thank you for being willing to serve and God bless you!

Note: Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in El Paso, we are not accepting Volunteers at the moment.

The clothing, food, and toiletries we are given as donations are given directly to our residents. Most come to us with very little to their name. These donations help us meet their very basic needs.
If you have any questions about clothing, food, or essential donations or would like to host a donation drive contact Nicole
As our residents prepare to move out into their own home, we are able to help them furnish their new home with furniture and household items that are donated to our warehouse. Please make sure these items are in good condition, gently used, and clean.
If you have any questions about furniture or household item donations or would like to schedule a donation pickup contact Randall at 915.532.2575
Reliable transportation is so important for someone trying to keep a new job. The donation of a vehicle could help someone get to work on time every day and continue to save part of their income for the future.
If you would like to discuss donating a used vehicle to the Rescue Mission for a resident please contact Blake
