Things you need to know about staying here

We have dorm rooms set up for men, women, families, renters, students in relapse prevention, and people needing medical assistance. Anyone under the age of 18, unless they are emancipated minors, must stay with their mom or another female legal guardian like a grandma.

Because we have children and students in relapse prevention, we require all of our residents to be completely sober while staying with us. That means you cannot have any alcohol or use any drugs unless they are prescribed by your doctor or are over the counter medicines that are being used according to their intended purposes.

While staying at the Rescue Mission, we will ask you to do simple chores to maintain your living space. We will also ask you to be working towards a stable income. That being said, we help you apply for disability, VA income, or jobs around the city. Everything we ask you to do is so that one day you can move into your own space and be ready for the responsibilities that come with it.

If you're not sure about staying here, please call us. Current and past residents work at the front desk and can tell you about their experiences while living here.
